Once an innocent child filled with hopes and dreams, now lost and lonely in the dark,
Others gave up long ago, afraid of the monster howling in my soul.
Buried in pain, drowning in sorrow, life on the crazy side, no tomorrow,
A loving hand reaches into my abyss, a glimmer of hope shows me how to live.
Believing and working through scars, hurt, and pain, there is hope for the child now grown.
A life reclaimed in this place of hope, this place of dreams, thanks to the house that let me in.
