Michael Bendure
Michael Bendure is an accomplished singer/songwriter who performs regularly in two local bands, Heartbreak Rodeo and The Whiskey Gingers, and he is the host of Tonic: The Funky Groove Show, a weekly instrumental funk and groove music program on KGOU. He is a co-founder of the SongWriters Association of Norman and an avid abstract painter who specializes in acrylics. He has served on numerous arts-related committees in the Norman community, including the Norman Arts Council and the Public Arts Board.
Tara Henry
Tara Henry has been a part of June Bug Jam for many years. She’s committed to sharing her gifts in support of others. In addition to her work with Transition House and JBJ, Tara has been very involved in Rock Camp for Girls every year it has been active in OKC teaching guitar, vocals, assisting with keys and bass, as well as being a band coach and a big cheerleader for all of the girls. She has performed for many events and places over the years like AMP Fest, Pride, church, weddings, Free Mom Hugs’ Kick Off Tour, Alzheimer’s benefit and other fundraisers and gigs. She has accomplished one of her dreams of recording an album of her original songs -“A Piece of My Heart” - which is available on all digital sale sites, and she has physical copies available, as well. Tara loves to perform from her heart and soul no matter the event, and wants to do so for a good cause whenever she can.
Jim Madsen
Jim Madsen is the founder and driving force behind Singing Dog Studios. An accomplished live musician, he brings his musical acumen into the studio to create a wide range of musical genres. He has a varied and checkered musical background mixing and mashing genres and styles. This is evident in his studio production work as well.
Erica Menchaca
Erica Menchaca is a Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Response Advocate at The Women’s Resource Center. She has been writing songs her whole life and enjoys connecting with others through her music! She believes music is a gift and a language we can all use to empower each other.
Darnay Titus
Darnay Titus is a musical talent from Oklahoma and member of the Transition House family. “I battle with mental illness on a daily, but I found out it’s okay to be me in spite of it all. I hope to keep a strong relationship with Transition House in the future. God Bless.”

Hi, my name is James! I’m from Mexico City & I’ve been a member of Thunderbird Clubhouse for 4 years. I love cooking & playing guitar. I am happy that I got to play my guitar to help create our one hit wonder for June Bug Jam!

I’m Mandy! I’m from originally from Dallas. I’ve been a member of Thunderbird Clubhouse for five years. I am a creative person in general. I love writing- especially songwriting & poetry! I worked with our group to write our song and am excited to patriciate in June Bug Jam this year!
Frank Mayes
I’m Frank! I’m a jack of all trades and a master of none. I’m from Oklahoma City and have been a member of Thunderbird Clubhouse for 3 years. I love music in general and am excited to be a part of June Bug Jam this year.
Ashley Showalter
Hi, I’m Ashley! I joined Thunderbird Clubhouse as a member in 2016 and was given the opportunity to join a staff member in 2018. I am also an abstract artist and have been an active participant in our Artist Collective program since becoming a part of the clubhouse community. I was excited to help create this song for June Bug Jam and celebrate that recovery is possible!
